Catalogs

Add, update, and remove sources of Lawn apps.

Catalog sources

Open Settings > Catalogs to manage the catalogs Lawn uses. Apps from added catalogs appear alongside the built-in apps.

Add a catalog

Click +, enter a public Git repository URL, and click Add Catalog.

Expand Options to choose a Branch or tag, or a Subdirectory containing the catalog. Leave these fields empty to use the repository's default branch and root folder.

To use templates from your Mac, click Add Local... and choose their folder. Lawn uses local folders in place and never updates them.

Update catalogs

Click Update to fetch the latest catalog changes. This refreshes the available templates; updating installed apps is a separate action. See Managing apps.

Remove a catalog

Click the trash button beside a custom catalog, then confirm Remove. Remove any installed apps from that catalog first. The built-in catalog cannot be removed.

You can also manage catalogs from the CLI.
