CLI

lawn doctor

Inspect Lawn, running app health results, ports, and local addresses for common problems.

Diagnose problems

Use lawn doctor when an app is not opening or Lawn reports that something needs attention.

lawn doctor

By default, Lawn reports its version, running app count, and local network permission. For running apps, it reports the latest stored health-check results and observed port conflicts. It does not run fresh app health checks, and an app can have zero reported checks.

To check a running app's local address, pass its name or ID:

lawn doctor <instance>

When connected to Lawn on this Mac, selecting a running app also runs fresh checks of its web page and local address. These local-address checks are skipped when the CLI uses --server or LAWN_SERVER.
